Founder, ANDvisory
Ross Anderson

Ross is a commercial, creative and operational business leader with more than 25 years' experience building, leading and growing businesses.
His experience spans founder and Managing Director roles, interim CEO leadership, commercial direction, international operations, production and strategic consultancy.
He has founded and grown businesses, managed multidisciplinary teams, developed new revenue streams, built partnerships and commercial relationships, and worked with businesses and clients across the UK, Europe, US, Middle East and international markets.
Ross also brings first-hand experience of building a company towards an exit, giving him an understanding of the commercial and organisational decisions founders face when moving from running a business towards creating an asset that can operate, grow and ultimately hold value beyond them.
His background combines commercial thinking with practical operational experience and an understanding of how founder-led businesses actually work: how commercial pressure and organisational structure affect both the performance of a business and the people inside it.
Ross combines commercial and operational leadership with a creative ability to see how a business, brand and proposition fit together. His role is not to replace the specialist knowledge inside a company, but to help founders translate that expertise into a clearer offer, a stronger organisation and practical action across the team.

A point of view
“I've become increasingly interested in the relationship between how a business performs and how it behaves. Efficiency shouldn't simply mean cutting cost. More often it means removing unnecessary work, giving people clearer responsibility and building a business that doesn't depend on everyone continually doing more. Get that right and you get a healthier organisation and a more profitable one.”
That view comes from running businesses rather than studying them: carrying P&L responsibility, managing teams, working through growth and change, and seeing first-hand how commercial pressure and organisational structure affect both performance and people. It is why ANDvisory works on business performance and business health together.
How that experience is applied
Day to day that experience is applied through fractional leadership, growth and commercial strategy, change and transformation, exit, succession and enterprise value and specialist work with creative, content and production businesses.
